Matthew Hatton Looks Ahead
Matthew Hatton Looks Ahead.
According to Sky Sports News, Matthew Hatton is hoping to get back onto the road to success this coming Saturday. He is set to defeat Kell Brook in a welterweight showdown on the 17th March, which will hopefully bring him a step closer to a world title.
The unbeaten Kell Brook, has been praised across the boxing world as a future star of the sport. He is favourite to swipe the world title away from Hatton, if he plays his cards right. Even the most casual of boxing fans might be willing to look away from http://www.partycasino.com to see how this pans out.
Hatton might have failed to claim the WBC belt last year at light-middleweight, but he has no plans to accept this defeat as an omen of his future prospects.
“This is a massive fight for me,” Hatton said according to Sky Sports News. “I’m proud of what I’ve achieved in my career so far – winning the European title and challenging for a world title – but it’s my ambition to become a world champion.”
Many share that dream. The only way he can do so, is to “beat Kell on Saturday,” he acknowledges. “I’m confident the winner of this fight will get a world title fight, what more motivation do you need?”
The pressure appears to be off Hatton for Saturday’s showdown though. Brook has been named as the favourite to win. Although Hatton claims people are getting carried away, and is determined to burst his bubble.
“He’s a very talented fighter … if he goes out there and beats me, I will be the first to shake his hand and say he’s going to go on to do some great things, but I really don’t see that happening.”
